The Traitors fans got a win of their own in tonight’s show, as a connection between two Faithful that had been sleuthed out online was proven to be true.
The fourth episode was one of many reveals, with the identity of the secret Traitor also finally exposed, with Fiona pulling off the red-cloak to reveal her bouncy blonde locks.
We also saw an early roundtable, in which the oft-beleaguered Ross became the latest to be banished, only to reveal he’s one of the good ones to his cast members.
Ross already had one surprise connection in the castle, to nursery school teacher Netty, who became the first Faithful to be murdered by the Traitors on Friday.
Then psychologist Ellie, who has so far skated through with little questioning, then told the BBC camera crew that Ross was her boyfriend – as fans had suspected!
Speaking in the confessional, she said: ‘I’m really sad to see him go. Especially because Ross is actually my boyfriend.
‘What I’ve got to do now is avenge his death. I’ve got to work a lot harder. I want to catch a Traitor for him.’

She might have changed her tune once she learned Ross suspected her of being a Traitor and was also a bit put out she didn’t rush to his defence at the roundtable, as he revealed later on Uncloaked.
But Traitors fans might have stolen the BBC show’s thunder, as a picture of the pair on a work trip in June 2024 circulated online earlier this week.
It came after eagle-eyed observers also found that the pair already knew each other on LinkedIn, having shared the evidence on Reddit.
There, Ross has publicly commented on several of Ellie’s work updates with supportive messages that would imply he knows her a bit more than the non-existent amount he claimed when they first sat opposite one another on the train to the castle.
So when the truth was finally revealed in the latest episode, there was little surprise at home.
It left one fan on X calling for the contestants to make their social media accounts private while competing on the show, to maintain that element of surprise.
Ruby wrote: ‘They need to private their social media like in Big Brother causee this would’ve gagged if I didn’t see it on Instagram days ago.’
Meanwhile Jack described it as ‘the worst kept secret’ while Jas tweeted: ‘We could have had a gag moment like “but ..Ross is” but someone HAD to leak Ross and Ellie’s big reveal and that was the most anti-climatic thing ever, I’m sad.’
The Traitors continues on Thursday at 8pm on BBC One.
