Adam Peaty’s sister has shared an insight into her close bond with new sister-in-law Holly Ramsay after being spoiled by the bride.
On Saturday, Bethany was seemingly the only close relation of the athlete to attend his wedding to model Holly, 25, at Bath Abbey.
Adam, 30, wed Gordon Ramsay’s daughter in front of 200 guests, but the likes of his own parents and brothers were absent due to an ongoing, highly publicised rift.
Despite his mother, Caroline, allegedly being ‘banned’ from the ceremony completely, in stark contrast, his sister Bethany played a key role, having served as a bridesmaid alongside Holly’s sisters, Tilly, 24, and Megan, 27.
The trio looked gorgeous in red Victoria Beckham gowns, with the fashion designer also on the guest list alongside her clan – minus Brooklyn – due to a long-time family friendship.
While neither Adam nor Holly has commented on the shenanigans surrounding their big day – their only Instagram activity thus far being a subtle name change – Bethany has offered a glimpse by revealing the lavish gifts Holly showered her with.
Taking to her Insta Story amid the wedding comedown, Bethany first posted a snap of the hugely popular Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream, which retails for £79.
In an added touch, the newlywed personalised the moisturiser, with ‘Magic Beth’ engraved on the pot.
Bethany wrote ‘Love you Holly’ alongside the pic in somewhat of a defiant message, subtly letting it be known where she stands in the drama.
Next up was a pillowcase set, embroidered with ‘Beth’ and ‘Bridesmaid’ on each, which Bethany had already laid out on her bed.
She was also given cosmetics bags stitched with her and her partner Dan’s names, a black pyjama set, a sleep mask, a tumbler glass, and a handkerchief reading ‘Beth Bridesmaid 27.12.2025.’
Bethany has been an integral part of wedding proceedings from the start, having struck up a friendship with Holly after she and Adam started dating in mid-2023.
The mum-of-two, who lives in Derbyshire with her fiancé, attended the couple’s engagement party in December last year and later Holly’s glam Cotswolds hen party, where she mixed with her famous pals.
Sharing snaps from the Soho Farmhouse hen, Holly proudly included Bethany in her ‘Team Bride’ carousel, while partner Dan attended Adam’s stag do in Budapest.
Mother Caroline was reportedly uninvited from the hen bash, though, which is said to have marked a turning point in the family feud.
What followed was a dressing-down for Holly from his aunt, Caroline’s sister Louise, who has been outspoken with her feelings on matters and even declared a ‘protector’ by Caroline herself.
In a series of social media comments, she claimed Caroline wasn’t allowed at the party because she didn’t have the ‘correct look.’ Meanwhile, sources say Bethany is the perfect match for Adam’s new extended family, as she ‘fits in’ with their showbiz world.
‘Bethany has always been very close to Adam, and she is really taken with the celebrity lifestyle; she’s had her head turned by all the glitz and glamour,’ the insider told The Sun in November.

‘She was over the moon to be at the hen party, hanging out with Victoria Beckham, and couldn’t wait to tell all her friends about it.’
As for the wedding day itself, insiders say Caroline feels ‘betrayed’ by Bethany attending and having such a big role.
‘This isn’t the Bethany we all know; she’s changed her appearance and personality to fit in with the Ramsays’ celebrity lifestyle,’ one alleged to the Daily Mail.
Bethany is one of three Peaty siblings, as Adam also has brothers James and Richard.
Adam’s relationship with James made headlines after the stag, as the Olympic swimmer was escorted through Manchester Airport by police upon arriving home due to receiving threats.
James, 34, was then arrested ‘on suspicion of harassment’ and released on bail.
Following this, Adam made his only public statement thus far, in which he also included Bethany’s name, proving their close relationship.
Taking to Instagram, the 2021 Strictly star declared that there are ‘two sides to every story’.
Addressing ‘challenging times’, he added: ‘Bethany, Holly and I will get through this – we do not ask for sympathy. We just need people to be aware that there are always two sides to every story.
‘To those of you who have reached out and shown kindness and understanding – thank you. It is deeply appreciated.’
Adam – who has changed his surname to Ramsay Peaty – is believed to have jetted off with wife Holly to bask in the honeymoon bubble, following a lavish reception on the day at Kin House in Kington Langley, Wiltshire.
His relationship with his parents, however, is at an ‘all-time low’, Caroline, in particular, saying she feels as though her heart has been ‘cut out’ by it all.
Dad Mark was reportedly invited to his son’s wedding but, after being told he must sit at the back, declined to attend.
